Household

Share your environment with a partner or family member. Members sign in with their own Google account (no password sharing) and see and edit everything: the same ledger, accounts, connections, and settings.

How it works

• Manage members in Settings → Account → Household.
• Only the owner (the email that subscribed) can invite or remove members. Billing, email digests, and API tokens stay tied to the owner.
• Invite by entering the member's Google email. Access activates within a couple of minutes; they then sign in from the regular sign-in page.
• Removing a member ends their access within a couple of minutes.

Good to know

• Up to 4 members besides the owner.
• An email that already has its own environment can't be invited, and a member can't sign up for a separate environment while they're in your household: the owner must remove them first.
• Everyone shares one ledger: there are no per-person permissions or hidden accounts. If you use passphrase encryption (Security & Privacy), members need the same passphrase to unlock amounts.
